The refurbished Old Post Office Cottage is next door to The Walnut Tree a short walk through the garden. It adjoins Ivy Cottage. The cottage has two double bedrooms, 6ft king size beds with handmade pocket-sprung mattresses. Be aware that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep. On the ground floor there is an entrance hallway, a kitchen with breakfast table, large bathroom and small sitting room with a television. The sitting room has a terrace which leads up to a garden. In 2010, for four persons Old Post Office Cottage is £240.00 per night. Three pay £200; two: £160; (see the 2011 prices).

The Old Post Office Cottage is independent from the restaurant, and we do not offer room service. But included in the room price, the fridge is stocked with bits to drink and nibble before dinner, and with breakfast items (yoghurt, berries, smoked salmon, ham, eggs, breads, freshly squeezed juice, coffee and tea). The Old Post Office Cottage is very comfortable, well-equipped and furnished, but note there is no telephone. We service the cottage when needed early afternoon. The cottage is totally non-smoking.
