Ivy Cottage is next door to the Old Post Office Cottage, a short walk from The Walnut Tree, through the garden. Ivy cottage has two double bedrooms, 6ft king size beds with handmade pocket-sprung mattresses, and a large bathroom to share. In 2010, for four person occupancy Ivy cottage is £240.00 per night. Three people pay £200; two: £160; (see the 2011 prices). There is an entrance hallway, study, open kitchen and sitting room with a conservatory leading off. A terrace outside of the conservatory goes down to a garden and beyond that to The Walnut Tree garden.

Ivy Cottage is independent from the restaurant, and there is no room service. But included in the room price, the fridge is stocked with bits to drink and nibble before dinner, and with breakfast items (yoghurt, berries, smoked salmon, ham, eggs, breads, freshly squeezed juice, coffee and tea). Whilst Ivy Cottage is very comfortable, well-equipped and furnished, note there is no telephone or television in the cottage. We service the cottage when needed early afternoon. Ivy Cottage is totally non-smoking.
